The Manukau City Council exhibit at the 2004 Ellerslie Flower Show was called 'Making Cultural Connections - Children's Heritage Park'.  This sculptural interpretation of the traditional game of marbles which was designed by Papatoetoe based design firm, Chow Hill, received a bronze award in the Sunday Star Times Exhibition Gardens category.  After the Ellerslie Flower Show, the exhibit was moved to Lloyd Elsmore Park in Pakuranga, eastern suburb of Auckland City.
